Premium Modules - ContentMK Docs

Overview of the 13 premium modules available in Professional and Premium plans.

Premium modules are included with the Professional and Premium plans. They extend ContentMK with professional-grade SEO data, revenue analytics, team collaboration, and automation. Module activation is per site — toggle which modules each site uses.

All modules are always visible in the UI, even on the Starter plan. Locked modules show a preview of what they do with an upgrade prompt, so you can discover features in context before deciding to upgrade.

SEMrush Integration

Full SEMrush data integration with two modes: CSV import (upload exports from SEMrush reports) and Live API (enter your API key for automatic ranking refreshes). Tracks keyword positions, SERP features, CPC data, and trends. Includes competitor monitoring with keyword overlap and content gap detection. Opportunity scoring ranks keywords by potential value.

Ahrefs Integration

Same two-mode approach as SEMrush with Ahrefs-specific data. CSV import for Ahrefs reports, Live API for automatic pulls. Tracks keyword positions, backlink counts per article, and referring domains. Includes Domain Rating, URL Rating, traffic estimates, and competitor content gap analysis. All data enriches the Basic SEO metadata layer.

Google Search Console

Real search performance data from Google — the ground truth for how your content ranks. OAuth connection with up to 16 months of historical data. Per-article metrics: impressions, clicks, CTR, and average position over time. Auto-populates target keywords from top queries. Declining alerts flag articles losing traffic.

Automotive Intelligence

For automotive publishers tracking vehicle coverage. Tag articles with Year/Make/Model metadata. Built-in database with 50+ US-market manufacturers and 200+ models. Coverage heatmap shows gaps in your content. Priority levels and model year tracking help plan coverage.

Cloud Sync

Sync your ContentMK data between multiple desktop installations. Field-level merge with per-field timestamps ensures concurrent edits to different fields merge cleanly. Same-field conflicts resolve by most recent edit with a conflict log. Background sync every 5 minutes with full offline support. Encrypted with TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest.

Team Collaboration

Share workspaces with your team (requires Cloud Sync). Three roles: Owner (full control + billing), Editor (create/edit/delete), Viewer (read-only). Assign articles and ideas to team members with a “My Tasks” view. Includes a team activity feed and in-app notifications. Additional seats are $49/month each.

Revenue & Campaign Analytics

Full revenue intelligence for monetized publishers. Track income from sponsored content, guest posts, link insertions, and display ads. Client management with lifetime revenue and retention metrics. Campaign analytics with YoY and MoM comparisons. Rate card management with revenue leakage detection.

Collections & Invoicing

Track outstanding payments and generate invoices (requires Revenue Analytics). Aging analysis in 30/60/90-day buckets. Three-tier collection escalation email templates. Branded PDF invoice generation with auto-populated line items from campaign data.

Guest Post Management

Manage guest post and link insertion orders with a Kanban-style pipeline: Inquiry, Accepted, Content Received, Published, Paid. Rate cards per site, agency tracking, and inventory management for placement slots. Shares client and agency data with Revenue Analytics.

Scheduled Reports

Automated recurring reports via email. Report types include Content Health Summary, SEO Overview, Schedule Report, and Revenue Summary. Delivery via SMTP or Gmail/Outlook OAuth on weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedules. Styled HTML emails with PDF attachments and customizable branding.

Manage affiliate links across your content. Program registry tracks affiliate programs across networks (Amazon, ShareASale, CJ, Impact, Awin, etc.). Scans articles for affiliate URL patterns, monitors link health with HTTP status checks, and logs earnings per article and program. Flags articles with zero affiliate links as missed opportunities.

WordPress Publish-Back

Push content changes from ContentMK back to WordPress. Select which fields to sync (status, title, content, categories, tags, excerpt, featured image, custom fields). Side-by-side diff preview before pushing. Conflict detection warns if WordPress content changed since last sync. Batch push with rate limiting.

Pinterest Pin Creator

AI-powered Pinterest pin creation pipeline: Article analysis by Claude AI, Canva design integration, and Pinterest posting. Generates Pinterest-optimized titles, descriptions, board suggestions, and tags. OAuth connections to both Canva and Pinterest. Uses API credits from your credit pack with per-pin cost transparency.
